Blackheath game

Saturday's forecast is for freezing temperatures all day and
sleet during the game. Will the pitch be playable or could it
be frozen?

Having to miss this game due to family commitments but I hope
the game goes ahead as the lads are on a bit of a roll and feel
they need to keep the momentum going.Stay humble.

Team looks good to me, a mainly settled combination. We have
three front row players on the bench, so I hope at least one of
them can cover the back row if needed. Jessie Williams is
our New Prop signing from New Zealand.
This really is going to be a tough game against both Blackheath
and the Weather.
Wrap up warm and wear a hat. Get into the Clubhouse early and
fill up on Pie, Chips and Pies, it will insulate against the
cold.
Blackheath had a close Win last weekend, thanks mainly to their
Full-Back who converted 5 penalty goals, 1 from 45 metres.
We must cut down on conceding penalties, particularly in our own
half.

Yup. Keep penalty count to a minimum and maintain concentration
on restarts. No one should run through the side and score from a
kick off.

I keep saying it, but it would be great to have another two big
middle row forwards to cover while there are injuries. I feel
sorry for the back row forwards that are temporarily filling the
gaps. Anyhow Ill be there cheering the team on today regardless
of how the weather is. C'mon Roth
