Durham University Game

Does anyone know the reasoning for this Game being played on a
FRIDAY NIGHT with a 19 : 30 KO.
Being a Pre - Season Friendly, the Day and Time will not have
been dictated by the RFU.

We played Durham Uni last season on a Friday night, perhaps it
suits both teams, giving our lads an extra day to recover for
the season opener the following week.

So, Friday night fixture, what's the team? Will we give more
game time to the emerging 1st 23 or do we give minutes to those
yet to feature or who have had limtied time?
I'putting forward: Ademakin, Koetze, Mulrooney (not sure about
tight head/loose head so probably wrong there), Curran, Guthrie,
Gordon, Thomas, Ravuvu * Jackson, Threlfall, Patterson, Howells,
Rokodrava, Kirby, Shaw. Repalcements: Barrett, Tunningley,
Donkor, Okafor, Bustin, Redmayne, Metcalf, Hayes.
I think there will be a much bigger squad to pick from but I am
wondering if Lloyd will back-up 10 at some point. I know there
are some injuries (e.g. Gascoign, Ollivent, Bell) but I don't
know if there are others as well. I also thin kthat we may have
loaned the odd player out to Teams in the divisions below, to
bolster their minutes. I dont think the above is the Champ
starting 15 and Harvey may decide to give his top lads the run
out but I guess you balance injury risk vs minutes of playing
time.

I believe that Kotze is away on international duty in the
Pacific Nations Cup with Canada, they are playing Fiji on
12/09/26 at 8:00am our time

Wondered why he wasn't at Newcastle.
