Elior Champ Rugby 202627: Final Place to Be Decided

The line‑up for the 202627 Elior Champ Rugby season is
almost complete, with thirteen clubs already confirmed for next
years competition.
Confirmed teams:
Ampthill, Bedford Blues, Caldy, Chinnor, Cornish Pirates,
Coventry, Doncaster Knights, Ealing Trailfinders, Hartpury,
Nottingham, Richmond, Rotherham Titans and Worcester Warriors.
That leaves just one place still to be decided.
The final spot will go to either London Scottish or Blackheath,
with both clubs aiming to secure their position in Level 2 for
next season.
London Scottish are fighting to retain their place in the
division, while Blackheath are looking to return to Level 2 for
the first time since 1999.
The decisive match takes place on Saturday, 23rd May at the
Richmond Athletic Ground, with kick‑off at 2pm.
Who do you think will claim the final place and who do you
want to see in the Champ next season?

I don't mind either way, already have one long weekend away at
Cornish Pirates to look forward to, didn't fancy a second at
Plymouth. ;D

A lot of old rivalries to catch up on with lots of familiar
names and grounds to visit ? Just a few new teams have made the
move up such as Chinor Hartbury etc but mainly traditional
teams such as Worcester, Nottingham , Bedford and Pirates not to
mention Doncaster.

Looks like London Scottish will only have Josh Bellamy from
their Quins contingent (they had Povey and Doak against
Richmond), interesting to see how that goes. I think Blackheath
finished the strongest in the last quarter of Nat 1 and so it
might give a little insight to the difference between the
leagues. Having watched Richmond vs London Scottish (with
Scottish recently beating Caldy), it looks like Blackheath will
have a tough match but I think their chances are better now that
they are playing Scottish rather than Richmond.
I wonder if Roth will set up some kind of loan arrangement with
a prem club, it feels like the RFU want this to happen across
the board but it is great to have a self contained squad to give
Harvey full control over who plays. Can't wait until the team
announcements start, the game is afoot!!
