This Saturday We Will Be Broadcasting The National 1 Promotion
Play-Off Game With Blackheath VS Plymouth Game On The Big Screen
TV With Live Commentary From Clubber Rugby.
Clubhouse Will Be Open From 2pm And Kick Off Is At 3pm.
Please Come Down To The Club And Join Us To See Who Will Join Be
Joining Us Into The Championship Next Season.

Don’t forget that whoever wins that, still has to play another
game on 23rd May away from home against the losers of Richmond v
London Scottish which takes place on 16th May.
The winners of that game will be promoted to / remain in, The
Champ.

Richmond played LS last week and were victorious. There were 5
quins in the LS team but they are allowed more and it is
rumoured that they will have up to 9 quins in the team for the
play-off. Both teams play at the same ground (Richmond Athletic
Ground) but Richmond will have the "home" dressing room for the
playoff, finishing above LS in tjhe league.
Having watched Richmond play a few times recently, the Champ is
at a significantly faster pace than NAT 1 and some of the teams
have a lot of pace and power to fully exploit any slipped
tackles. It will be a tough match for either Plymouth or
Blackheath to play either Richmond or LS at the RAG and it will
be a tough season for Roth going forward. I note the squad has
been erased from the website ready for the various
announcements, exciting times!!

I can't see either getting promoted. To go away against one of
two teams who have won a reasonable number of games in the
championship and play at a higher level week in week out. Rough
ask.
But pressure situations can impact on players massively.....just
glad we went straight up
