This season 35 players had game time, of those 35 there were 3
who were selected for every game - Isaac Shaw, John Okafor &
Luke Cole.

Great start to our re signings, all first choice starters.
Looking forward to seeing the next batch. If we keep our
strongest possible core of players and add some new talent we
will be looking very strong.

Blackheath arguably finished the last 20% of the season the
strongest in Nat 1. They then dispatched London Scottish. Our
best team beat Blackheath and then narrowly lost to them at the
Utilita by a smaller margin than London Scottish (who lost at
home). This would put Rotherham at the weaker end (and probably
in the relegation play-offs) of last seasons Elior Champ by the
end of Nat 1 season. Our core players, that secured the Nat
1title, will need bolstering with players that can help push the
whole squad up by another 10-15%. This should push us into
automatic survival. From the various reports, Harvey is
selecting young, adaptable players that are hungry and can fit
that mold and want to work hard and push everyone including
themselves. I think it is obvious that he is more than capable
of finding that balance of pace, power, nous and committment and
that players will thrive under his coaching regime. I am very
excited about what the team will look like and I hope we retain
the top players from last season but just boost the squad with
little more power and guile. Personally, I think the scrum went
well and our pack were pretty awesome. But we will need a bit
more depth there perhaps, especially with HGF's departure. I
think we need more pace and snipe at scrum half (but glad JB is
back with his esperience) and perhaps Russell Bennett (if
confirmed) will bring that extra buzz at 10. We had Jackson on
one wing (hope he is retained) but we maybe need his equivalent
on the other wing. Be interesting to read what others think
about positional strengths we need to enhance.
