Russell Bennett - potential switch to Fly Half for Titans?

Saw an article in Doncaster Free Press - a comment suggested it
was old news but it was posted after Doncaster's recent victory
over Richmond. Not sure if there is anything to it but it is
interesting that rumours of recruitment have started. We still
have a job to do, so not getting ahead but it piqued my
interest. Anyone else heard anything?

I saw this article the other day too. It says Russell played
under Harvey for Jersey so there is a connection there.
Doncaster are also going semi pro from next season so I’d
imagine we can now compete a lot better wage wise.
I’d say it’s just a rumour for now but to be published it must
have something behind it.
I would like us to do all we can to hold onto Rob Povey as he
has been outstanding for us this last couple of years and has
brought a quality to the number 10 shirt that we haven’t seen
for a while.

Totally agree about Rob and to be fair Hayes has deputised
brilliantly. I am actually going to the Rcihmond game this
weekend against Bedford (we have friends in Teddington and its
only 2 hours away). they have said that squad depth is a huge
factor in the Champ, you need the whole squad to be the first
team

To have both Rob and Russell would be absolutely awesome should
we gain promotion. With more substitutions available squad
rotation will be more effective also.
Interesting times.

Saw that we have officially announced "Rusty" as a signing,
although he was placed in our squad list, it is good to see the
confirmation on "X".
