That was an excellent fisplay of rugby today. Fantastic
interplay that resulted in some superb tries. Enthralling to
watch Roth in full flow.

Great result, 50+ points in the 2nd, when you've got the game in
the bag easy to let the performance level slip, but the lads
kept it up & as Jim says scored some lively tries. Well done to
the team & coaches

Great display today some amazing tries from RUNNING RUGBY!
This team really does have the skill and pace to move the ball
about and when we do, we look dangerous.
I thought James Norman was phenomenal today. Two or 3 turnovers
from his pressure chasing kicks and tackling. Very well done to
him.
Jack Baldry is really growing into the Number 8 position and had
a storming game, big boots to fill and he is doing a great job.
Sinjin looked very sharp too apart from a daft mistake which he
more than made up for.
Travis Gordon was awesome too, always makes yards and breaks and
grabbed 2 tries.
Jackson with the hat trick, can’t ask for more from a winger.
Well done lads, I really was hoping for a big score today to
catch up on Plymouths points difference and the lads did that!
Next week is the tough one. Rosslyn Park away. Rest up, heal up
and give it 110% these lads can get the win.
Well done to Lions for pushing for their bonus point. They
looked defeated by about 60mins on the clock but they pulled it
back to get the well deserved try bonus!
Come on Roth!

So much better with quick ruck ball, looked far more dangerous.
Sorry JB, can we have Sinjin and Cowan please.

Sinjin played well but so does JB who is a very clever
tactician. We are very lucky to have both.
James did have a cracker and the debut try was great to see. I
just think it was an all round superb performance to a man.
Plymouth 41 Rosslyn 10 is a very interesting score.

It was great to see quick ball to our backs from rucks and
scrums for a change. Our slick backs are one of our greatest
assets and good to see them being utilised instead of the
overused box kick. Our forwards supply a lot of ball and must be
so disappointed when it is kicked away to the opposition to find
themselves under attack again.
A little bit less appealing and arms up in the air to the
referee would be appreciated. Sinjin was a prime example today
when he was so busy appealing to the ref that he was swamped by
a couple of their players and resulted in a try to them. A wee
bit critical but all in all fantastic performance by all of our
players including newbies getting a game.

Did someone mention that we needed to improve our points
difference ;D
[/quote]
T'was me ;D
It was very much needed when you look at the points differences
per game over the season so far.
What might the reasons be?
Have we tired?
Have teams worked us out?
Have other teams strengthened?
A mix of everything?
We haven't really been hit by injuries so have been able to put
out a relatively stable squad every week, so can't blame it on
injuries.
Whatever it might be, I hope the lads keep battling for the rest
of the season, they are clearly good enough to push for
promotion.

Lots of discussion around the Christmas break that since the
great start, we haven’t kicked on in the way other teams have
and had gone off the boil.
Interesting point that the lack of injuries has meant very
consistent selection, and I do wonder if this consistency
contributed to the malaise? Players got picked week in week out
regardless of form and maybe felt safe without meaningful
rotation? I rate Harvey but think he just got too conservative
rather than trying anything different.
Who knows, we certainly lost some spark and got caught up. Going
to be a nail biting run in.
