I have to agree with you White Rhino
I am told the ref. arrived at 1pm and called it off which is I
have to say, disgraceful. I tried in vain to contact my friend
who told me this having had a wasted journey.
Considering the distance Clifton have to travel (and I have no
idea whether they were already here or not) and of course our
own supporters, Makes this late call even worse.
I did gather that it has to be the match referee who makes the
call so it begs the question “Why did he only arrive at 1pm?”
Not a good look at all.

Same referee and same thing happened at Leeds, he didn't turn up
       until an hour before kick-off

Roth will be down to third tonight. Both Plymouth and Blackheath
have big half time leads with try bonus points already in the
bag. Plymouth lead Bishops Stortford 28-5 and Blackheath lead
Leicester Lions 26-5. Both games at half time.
Other half time : Rams 0 Sale FC 8
Result : Tonbridge Juddians 36 Dings Crusaders 31
       Both teams got 5 tries.

Poor show by the club yesterday, to be playing a club from
Bristol, or anywhere for that matter, and postponing the game at
1pm is amateurish to put it mildly. It was obvious that the game
was in doubt, a request for an official to get down to the
Ground should have been made earlier. From the outside, it looks
like they gambled on the pitch thawing, and it didn’t.
The comms out of the club was equally poor. Many people
contacted via X to ask the question, none of them received a
reply. No apology either for the late call off.

Changes week by week this league it is so tight. 5 points from
the game in hand puts us back on top, but it is going to be a
very tough second half of the season for all of the teams.

I spoke with donks after getting to the ground to find out it
was cancelled and he told me and my brother the players knew
there was no way of the game being on thursday night. Find it a
bit convenient how we didn't find out till the supporters were
already at the club house ready to fill the tills with their
money. Very poor show in my opinion
