With Moseley's position in the League I expected an easier game
for our Lads, but a Win is a Win, just disappointed that we
didn't get the Try bonus.
This game certainly showed the advantage of having a top
goalkicker on the field, as Lloyd's 18 pts from the Boot showed
us the way Home.
Rosslyn Parks 2 pt lead at the Top of the League is nothing at
this stage of the season, but the way they are playing means
that we have to be at our best to keep in touch with them.
Blackheath's Win leaves them just 4 pts below us, so next
Saturdays game against them should be a cracker, with hopefully
a good Titans Victory.

Winger. Don’t forget that in their last home game beat
Blackheath 32-19 and secured the try bonus point before half
time, eventually getting 5 tries in total.
So I think it was a very solid result against dangerous
opponents.

In this league, a win is gold dust and a bonus point hard to
come by. I'm not sure if Blackheath's or Birmingham's teams were
any different when Birmingham beat them comfortably at home but
it does add a little context. Perhaps the loan player scenarios
are more important than we care to think (especially when you
look at Dings). Still great win away and now we have a massive
test at home. Plymouth have been the team to beat early doors bu
seem to have lost a little confidence recently, however
Blackheath putting 40 points on them rings a few alarm bells.
Good to see LSB get on the score sheet, I wonder what our team
will look like next week?

Very good result away at Billesley Common; we haven't had many
good results there and I can remember us getting well beaten on
a few occasions. Particularly losing from a half-time lead of
over 20 points and getting mauled to death with a hat-trick from
their hooker (Caves?).
We were on top in most areas. If the line-out hadn't misfired so
frequently, the bonus point would have been comfortable.
Good game from Lloyd, out of position. Cracking try from Ellis
Thomas, crashing through a number of their defenders for the try
that settled it.
There was a point, about 15 minutes from time, when it could all
have gone wrong. Some sturdy defence and good decision-making
saw us through. Well done all.
