Poor result. Sounds like the 9 + 10 combo didn't work to well. I
thought the 10 looked like he needed a lot of work in pre
season. Corben should have been given his chance as a proven 10
at this level (if he is fit.)
We can't make excuses for this loss, we just weren't good enough
on the day and the nature of this league is that anyone can beat
anyone. Time to pick ourselves back up and kick back with a good
game next week.
I'd have taken 6 wins from 7 and second in the league at this
stage at the start of the season.

That’s a strange take. 9 and 10 were fine and have played
together plenty before here, back three also did well. Today was
all down the forwards coming off second best and getting out
fought and out rucked - we didn’t see the ball for the first 15
minutes. Dings were more up for it and stacked full of ringers
from Brizz too.

We also struggled at Leicester Lions and were fortunate to
return with 5 points. Certainly away fixtures against teams
below us in this league are not guaranteed 5 pointers. I’m sure
that there will be many more teams that come unstuck in future
weeks. Interesting times ahead in a very competitive league. I’m
glad that we already have so many points on the board.

I've had a look at the BRISTOL website and there were 7
players from Bristol in the DINGS starting 15.
Hooker - Prop - Open Side - Blind Side - No8 - Ouside Centre
and Full Back 5 Forwards out of 8 No wonder our
Forwards were Struggling
How many Loanee's is a Club allowed in a Match Day Squad ?

Exactly. No disservice to our pack at all, but Dings got cute
and it worked. Not sure why their coach was allowed to roam
around the sidelines chatting to the touch judge either. Lenny
was fuming.

Looking at the National league Rules, a Team can only field 3
loan players in a match day squad or 6 England academy players:
HTML https://nationalleaguerugby.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/08/admin-aug-2019.pdf
(Section 3.1).
Looking at the scoreline, I understand that the league is tough
and any team can beat any team but it was most unexpected
nonetheless.
