A Poem for those who stand at Clifton Lane and what has gone
before

This poem is dedicated to every player, supporter, and official
who has ever stood for Rotherham Titans not just on the pitch,
but in the stands, in the clubhouse, and in the heart of Clifton
Lane.
Its a tribute to the maroon and blue, to the voices that echo
through the Shed, and to the quiet hands that built this club
from the ground up.
Because at Roth, we dont just field fifteen.
We carry sixteen and always have.
For Those Who Stand at Clifton Lane
For those who stand at Clifton Lane,
Where boots have worn the earth to grain,
Where voices rise not just to cheer
But to remember all who stood here.
For those who laced their boots with pride,
And ran with fire they could not hide,
Who bore the badge, who felt the strain,
And gave their all in wind and rain.
For those who watched with hearts alight,
Who knew each tackle, knew each fight,
Who passed the torch from hand to hand,
And taught their sons to understand.
This is not just matchday roar.
It is the echo of before.
It is the whisper in the stand,
Of every soul who took this land.
So when Rosslyn Park comes bold and loud,
And Clifton Lane draws in its crowd,
Know this the storm is not just play.
It is the memory we guard today.
We play for those who came before.
We play for those wholl come once more.
We play for Roth, for Shed, for name
For every heart that lit this flame.
