I imagine the club are trying to save as much money as possible
due to the drop in funding. It would explain why the portion
sizes are smaller, food is a slightly cheaper quality and the
prices are higher. Yesterday was always going to be a low
attended match as with Chinnor being a village I don't imagine
they are know for a huge away following which would explain why
there was only 1 guy behind the bar.
It is not great for the spectators but it's understandable from
a business point of view with such a drop in funding. Hopefully
with increasingly good performances we will start to attract
spectators back to the club and that may encourage better
quality and quantity in the food. The club does have a different
feel to it than the last few years, we suit the semi pro
'Propper Rugby Club' model, we just need to start using it to
get fans back in.
Its nice to be moaning about the food and not the team
performances for a change ;D

Very good point Chris. Food wasnt that bad was it . I had plenty
of meat in the pie on and off the pitch. Not happy about refs so
far

i don’t see why the food standards should drop. Make same pie,
charge a little more. The lack of local Derbys will affect the
crowds. If we don’t get promoted then Leedshire should join us.

Their 9 was delaying the put-in all game. If that was the call,
it was about time.

Hi Chris and Jim,
I agree that the performance is far more important than than the
pie.
Talking to others, some (like you) had the old pie. My pie was
worse than the ref.
Won't stop me coming to games , but won't be eating at the club
if it is that bad again.
Here's to progress across the board.

Blimey John, are you his agent.
Not sure about your question Jim. I'm sure I read/heard
somewhere that only Food bought in the Club, can be consumed in
the Club, but I stand corrected if someone knows different.
With the food van being on the Rugby Clubs ground, and selling
food in opposition to the food bar, would I be correct in saying
that he pays a Fee to the Club or the Club gets a percentage of
his takings. If not then it's a very good gesture from the
Club.

Great game this weekend and a great result, Only thing that I
could complain about was the lack of bar staff, Had to get in a
line when I first arrived as only 1 bar staff serving, but if
that is the only thing to complain about. That can be resolved.
COME ON YOU ROTH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
