Agree with all previous comments so not going to repeat. I was
so excited by this team today. brilliant credit to them and the
coaches. That decision for their try was terrible, it should
have been a yellow card for tackling off the ball (some would
give red but that would have been harsh). it was not a try.
Incidentally they were a good team and kept the ball well
through the phases - but their first try - 2 forward passes and
a knock on I spotted. Brilliant team performance well done -
Fortress Clifton returning. Oh and well done the Shed.

Great game and excellent result. The defence for those last few
minutes under our posts was the best we have seen for a long
time; not sure last year's team would have held out?
Have to agree with all of the comments already posted. The
lineout was a joy - and that with second rows missing. Solid
scrum and we mauled well against a bigger team.
Chinnor looked very good for the first 20; they were organised,
kept possession through the phases and were breaking through in
the 10 /12 channels, seemingly with ease. Then we had an awesome
spell during the last 5 of the first half and the first 8
minutes of the second. After that they did not seem to be able
to break our line - don't know what was said at the break but it
       obviously worked.
Ref got them back into it and then we held out. Excellent.
Also have to agree about the pie and chips. Price increase,
smaller portion and poorer quality. My Pie consisted of three
very large lumps of undercooked potato and very little else.
(Did speak to others who said they had got the all-steak version
we are used to.) Almost no meat or pastry in mine. Did politely
point out to the catering staff that, even though we have been
eating at the club before the game for getting on for 20 years
now, we won't be any more if it's like that.
But what went on on the pitch was most enjoyable. Well done
       all.

Don’t use the club house any more ! Not for a few years now, the
beer prices rocketed up and the quality of the pie has come
down, we were notoriously good for fare for years and someone
really needs to get a grip on this 😂

Agree about the food price increase and reduction in portion
size. Our contribution to the finances. The once legendary pie
days have passed and thin chips from Mackey d's not best. I had
a few poor ones last season also. However happily trade food for
the pitch. Remember when we had a proper coffee man also. HS one
ordered for the half time commentary break

The Rugby Paper has given our gate as ------ 617. Getting
better but we need more. Hopefully if we carry on our good
run, we can attract some of our lost souls back. It was
disappointing to be relegated but the Rugby in this League is
       great. Fast and open.
Looking at results/scores/table each week, it shows how close
       the League is.
Report from the paper----------- Rotherham produced the result
of the season so far by beating the League leaders in an
outstanding contest at Clifton Lane where the Titans won by 5
       tries to 4.
I couldn't see why the Ref gave us the decision at the end, but
the report says ---------- The match ended with a five-metre
Chinnor scrum, but the Put-In was delayed, resulting in a Titans
free-kick that allowed survival and a dramatic victory.
So it's a massive thank you to the Chinnor scrum-Half.

The thing is Jim it’s not a case of one or the other ? Whatever
happens on the field, which is always an unknown Quantity should
not effect what goals on in the club house ! Which is very
controlable and the standard should never, ever drop.
Surely people at the club should be seeing what’s happening !

Agreed , the food issue needs to be addressed. However the
clubhouse is very quiet on matchdays at the moment. I am going
to look at what the food looks like next time before indulging
now. What I meant was - the food is not a deal breaker for me as
I will just eat elsewhere before the game. Not good for the club
but a choice that is easy to make.
