Great win on the road. We are looking very strong. Well done to
all. This is going to be a battle this season. Big test next
week when Stortford visit. They have been a bit of a bogey team
for us in recent years. We will need to be on it from the get
go.
Enjoy this win lads, rest up and go again next week. Come on
Roth.

Looked like another strong performance on the live stream at
Clifton Lane.
Next week will be a test; still remember the first half at
Clifton Lane last season, when BS blew us away. Still don't
understand how that happened. I remember the looks of disbelief
on our players' faces at the time.
We will need to be at our best.

Last season’s home defeat to Bishop’s Stortford was a bruising
affair. Five tries conceded in the opening half-hour, two yellow
cards, and a halftime scoreline of 35–8 left the Titans chasing
shadows. We rallied after the break, scoring four tries and
earning a bonus point, but the damage had already been done.
This season, though, the mood is shifting. Three wins from three
— away at Sale, then at home to Leeds, and most recently away at
Clifton — all with bonus points, and all showing signs of a team
growing in confidence and control.
The squad has evolved significantly. Eight of the starters from
the Bishop’s game have moved on or rotated out, with only Jamie
Cooke still at the club, currently recovering from a hand
injury. In his absence, Travis Gordon has stepped in well, and
the back three of Isaac Shaw, Jackson Barling, and Mitchell
Lacey-Babalola has brought real spark. Shaw and Barling have
already scored braces, and the pack — led by Morgan Veness, John
Okafor, and captain Harry Newborn — has looked dominant and
disciplined.
Speaking of discipline, it’s improved overall. There was a
yellow card for Callum Bustin at Sale and one for John Okafor
late on at Clifton, but the Leeds game was clean, and the team
has generally looked more composed under pressure. Across the
last two games, we’ve conceded just 27 points — a far cry from
the 45 shipped in one outing last season.
There’s a better balance now. Tries are coming from both
forwards and backs, and the team seems to be managing games more
effectively — building pressure, converting chances, and
finishing strong. The Clifton win, in wet conditions, showed
grit as well as flair.
All in all, there’s plenty to be optimistic about. The Titans
look fitter, smarter, and more united. And with depth on the
bench and players stepping up when needed, this season feels
like it’s building towards something special.

Totally agree this club is going places where we go is up to
the club but we can definitely go as far as we want to.
