A 6 try to 1 try win is excellent, irrespective of who we are
playing against. The top three clubs are on 20pts, we are in
9th place on 17pts. This looks like being a very close run
thing to finish top at the end of the season. Our next
opponent's, Chinnor, were one of the pre-season favourites for
promotion, but most of their results, Win or Lose, have been
very close, less than 8pts.
Our lads have shown today that they know where the Try line is,
let's hope that their Sat-Nav is still working next week.
The Wind effected some of Nic Dolly's kicking today, but overall
his kicking will be a massive bonus for the team this season. In
tight games it's often the accuracy of the kicker that decides
results. I'm glad we've got him at the Club.
We probably missed a few opportunities today with knock-ons.
A few silly mistakes to tighten up on and we will be a force to
reckon with.
I read today that it was Dec 2016 that we last won two
consecutive games, i've every confidence that next week we will
win our 3rd concecutive game of this season.

I was pleased with the fact that we only conceded 5 points.
Today the team showed much greater discipline and the team gave
away many fewer penalties in the red zone. I thought Seb and Eru
had good games. I think if Conor Keys had been playing it would
have been a much greater margin of victory. The team appears to
be gelling really well. Can’t wait for Chinnor next week.

Very good performance in unpleasant conditions. We handled the
ball a lot and made fewer errors than I would have expected,
given the temperature and wet ball.
Scrum and lineout were both on top throughout. We stopped their
maul a number of times.
Was impressed by Connor Field on his return; new image and he
looked dangerous. Will Dennis looked good again.
Callum Irvine was very sharp when he came on.
Joe Barker looked like the cat who got the cream when he came
across to shake hands with supporters at the end - well
deserved!
One of the best fiver's worth (concession and booked online in
advance) of entertainment I have had for a while, despite being
frozen.
Well done all.
