Team looks good however, I never like to see Callum on the bench
but it looks like he is covering centre this week. Is Cookie
injured? I'd still have him as first choice 12.

Why do we field a minimum matchday squad? we seem to have a
large squad on paper and yet have no out and out backs on the
bench. I know Sinjin can cover scrum half but it seems a risk
especially if we have 3 other scrum halfs in the 'green room'.

20 is the maximum amount of players for this league, I'm not
sure why. A few other players will travel and be available if an
injury occurs pre match.
This does also mean players need to be able to cover multiple
positions.

I just had a quick look at other teams in Nat one and as you say
they are also fielding 20. That seems to be the number set out
the RFU guidance (6) for Nat 2 but doesnt specifically mention
Nat 1. This, does favour multi-position players as you say.
Looks like a strong squad so fingers crossed, it s going to be a
tough ride and Im sure the squad depth will be tested to the
full.

There will be 2 nominated ‘travelling reserves’, usually a back
and a forward but lots will want to see how this goes so expect
to see other players there, either on the bus or under their own
steam. The more noise the better!

Gutted I can’t be there this week due to a last minute job. I
