Has anybody asked Harvey whether we’ll be running an A team
fixture list, or just loaning a lot of players out, as there
will be large numbers not getting regular rugby otherwise?

Blackheath had a good run out against Bedford (scoring 35 points
but losing 54-35) and then went on to a comfortably victory over
Richmond (33-14), with Leeds tykes also putting 60+ points on
Hull
ionians, it looks like Nat 1 is going to be a tough ride.
Hopefully, we can emulate last seasons performances (and perhaps
improve) but it will be tough. It is going to be interesting to
see how the squad size and quality affects our journey (i'm sure
there will be pro's and Con's). Friday's clip of the Sheffield
match gave a great insight into the way we might play, looked
sharp and slick but also powerful. Looks and feels like we are
in a good position.

Very true,
Tonbridge have big ambitions by the looks of things, Plymouth
have a 10 year plan in place to get to the Prem, Sale have
recruited well. As ruckio said Blackheath look strong and Leeds
had a similar result to us agains Hull I's.
There is no indication that any team will be weaker, if anything
everyone looks stronger so it is going to be another compelling
season. A handful of points going against you can make the
difference between bottom 4 and top 4.
Hoping for another strong season!

We just have to appreciate what an asset he has been over the
years.

Just wondering if Travis Gordon should be moved from back row to
centre? Do we see this as a permanent change?

It would be good to know the coach's thoughts on selecting him
there. I assume it's because we have a very good set of back-row
players, and he wants to play as many as he can, and Travis is
the one most suited to centre. I could of course, be very wrong.

I had been thinking about moving him which I've now rone. Easy
to move him back if he swaps back to the back row.

Added our two new scrum halves, that makes 6 in the squad. How
do we ensure they all get some reasonable game time?
