Nailbiter today. Thought at 19 3 we would go on to win a bit
more easily than 1 pt. But Moseley are a tough side and made
things very difficult. Two horse race now after todays results
it seems.

I still think Plymouth have a big chance yet. Much depends on
next weeks result at Plymouth who have now won 9 straight games.
With 5 points for a win, things can change very quickly. Granted
Plymouth have to beat us and Richmond away too, but they have to
keep winning.
Given the games we still have to play + the fact that other top
teams play each other too,
I don’t think there are any easy games at all.
A quick run down of the top 5’s remaining fixtures with 6 games
to play for each team:
Richmond (83 pts) have Plymouth Rams & Blackheath at home and
Birmingham Mose (next Friday), Sedgley Park & Roth away.
Roth ( 80 pts) have Sedge & Richmond at home and Plymouth, Rams,
Blackheath and Rosslyn Park away.
Rosslyn Park ( 71 pts)
have Birmingham Moseley, Sedgley Park & Roth at home and Bishops
Stortford, Plymouth and Rams away.
Rams (71 pts) have Plymouth, Roth & Rosslyn Park at home and
Blackheath, Richmond & Darlington away.
Plymouth (71 pts) have Rotherham, Rosslyn Park & Esher at home
and Richmond, Darlington & Sale away.
Still a long way to go and as fans we can think about this, but
I am sure that Rotherham will be looking at it one game at a
time and try to get some of our injured players back available
to play as soon as possible.
All the best.

The Titans were very lucky to win that game. Started
impressively, dominating lineouts and a very strong display by
the forwards. Then the “kick tennis” started. A three man
overlap squandered when JB hoofed it down the park, at times it
seems to be the only tactic that is used and opposition teams
must be well aware of this. My Man of the Match (for what it’s
worth) was Callum Bustin. He made the hard yards and was always
involved

Sounds like a tough game with a depleted team, players out of
position and missing a few key figures.
Well done to the lads for sticking it out and finding a way to
win.
As for the title race, we certainly seem to have the hardest run
in Plymouth, Blackheath, Rosslyn and Rams away. We will do very
well to come out of that with four wins. Richmond and Sedge at
home will also be very tough.
This years key game could well be us vs Richmond at Clifton
Lane.
Whatever happens this has been a fantastic season of competitive
rugby. What a bloody brilliant squad and set of coaching staff
we have!

A nail biter indeed.
Moseley are always a good second half team. I still remember
being more than 20 points up against them at HT, including a
first half hat trick from Jon Feeley; Moseley still came back to
win.
I thought Harry did very well throwing in to the line out.
Bustin had a very good game but I agree with their chairman
about MoM - JB. His kick bout 4 minutes before the whistle,
which led to the knock-on, let us play the final few minutes
around their 22 - preventing them from getting the chance of a
drop goal or penalty to take the points away. We have kicked to
play the game in good areas a lot this year; we have also won a
lot of games this year. Certainly more than we could have hoped
for at the start of the season?
A measure of how good this was? I think the last time we did the
double over Moseley was in 2013/14 season. (I may be mistaken)
In that team we had the likes of Charlie Mulchrone, Tom Cruse,
Lawrence (JCB) Pearce, Socino, Jack Roberts , etc. Quite a team.
I think it also included Lloyd Hayes.
So historically a very good result and, on the day, a good,
tight contest. Well done all.
