I’m not there but struggling up front by the sound of it.
They’re going for LO or scrum instead of goal kicks so
they must think so too

35 - 7 down. Poor performance. Disorganised, poor defence, poor
decision making, very lateral, no one running into the ball. The
list could go on.

Don’t despair!
That game was always a big ask for a new squad!
Let’s stay tight and see what next week brings!
I’ve watched Phoenix beat Halifax with in many ways a fantastic
performance.
A bonus point win to nil.
The only downside was the amount of pens we conceded.
The seconds lost but about 42 lads gave their all for Rotherham.
The future is bright.

Well what to say after that.
DArlington by far the better side, faster, well drilled and very
well coached. More creative and sussed us out very early on. The
result reflected the game. If Darlington had had their full
first squad out it would have been much worse. They have a very
experienced coaching team and that showed on the field. We l led
creativity and pace, they had both. They only just won last week
so that will be another tough one
We lacked creativity, were driven back, lateral and put in a
lot of energy to stay where we were and then get knocked back.
We made a lot of very silly errors. I think we need strong
coaching and hopefully there teams to come that we will beat. At
the moment it is business S usual - turn up, try hard and get
beat. So I hope there are sufficient weaker teams for us to hang
on in this season and if we can keep the team or most of it. Get
a good coaching squad we could hold a higher position next
season. We had 4 or 5 standout players who I hope we can keep.
