Todays results

Well Rams lost 25-22 at Sale FC. A great couple of weeks for
them. Rams were 19-0 down at one point but managed to get 4
tries & a loss within 7 gets them 2 bonus points.
Rams now have 69 points from 17 games, one ahead of Richmond who
won 33-17 at Darlington but Richmond had a player red carded at
33-5. Rotherham have a game in hand and are on 63 points. Our
game in hand is in 3 weeks at improving Esher who followed up
their 54-42 win over Richmond by gaining a bonus point victory
at Moseley by 31 points to 24.
Other results was:
Leicester Lions 17 Plymouth Albion 20

Cheers Rothman for your input but any idea why we had no game
today ? Seems a bit bizarre because we now have a game in
hand on some teams ?

Hi White Rhino
This week and 22nd Feb are free weeks.
All the games played today were re-arranged games due to bad
weather earlier in the season.
Our game at home to Blackheath on 7th December was played
despite an awful gale on the day. On that same day Moseley’s
home game v Esher was postponed for the same reason.
The Moseley v Esher game was quickly arranged for Feb 1st
(today) so when our game at Esher in January was called off
because of a frozen pitch, the earliest free date to play it was
Feb 22nd so that is when our game in hand will be played. I
believe it is the only Nat.1 game that day (at present)

I understand the re-arranged game between Darlington v
Blackheath (postponed last week) will now also take place on
22nd February. I understand this game and ours at Esher will
both kick off at 3pm that day.

The Sale v Birmingham Moseley game has also been rescheduled for
Sat. 22nd February at 2.30pm.
You might recall the original game was abandoned after 65
minutes on December 14th due to a floodlight failure with Sale
leading 30-25.
It was thought the original result might stand but it has in
fact been ordered to be replayed in its entirety.
