Tough conditions. But 5 points and that is great. Wind made it a
disjointed affair but a great team finds a way and we did.

Very scrappy first half against the wind but more dominant
second half. Got out of jail springs to mind but a good team
does what it needs when it needs it!
To all of us armchair warriors Merry Christmas and a Happy New
Year. The mighty Roth march on and we follow in the reflected
glory basking. Have a good un.

Great result in the end, especially on a day when it didn't go
to plan for others at the top. Proper team effort again,
especially in defence, but what a couple of moments of
inspiration from JB?
They had a game plan which negated some of our strengths in the
first half: they got the ball out of their scrums so quickly, it
didn't give us chance to assert our dominance; and their guy
with the blue headband was very good at disrupting our line out.
Better second half when we got on top in the scrums. If we could
have won our own line out ball, it would have felt much more
comfortable.
Well done all.

Unfortunately, we couldn't attend, Disney on Ice commitments.
How did Travis Gordon look, I know it's very early days but glad
to have him playing.

He looked good - but I may be biased as he works for TCF! He’s
very happy to be playing at last.

I asked him down at Leicester when he was expecting to be
playing and he said mid-December. Thankfully he has recovered as
expected.
