ask." Will we not see more of that this season with the
reduction in substitutes?
BTW was anything enlightening said at last nights Titans

It's the basics of tight 5 forward play. Solid scrum on our
ball, a threatening maul, a method of defending opposing mauls
that works...
Lots of positive signs, good ball carriers in the back-row,
half-backs looked enterprising, outside backs made breaks and
ran good support lines, but unless we sort the basics, we will
have to play a lot of rugby to stay in games and the winter
months will be hard work.
Hopefully time and the integration of the German international
lads in the front row (who arrived late) will address. Maybe
OE's will be one of the better packs we face as well.

The injuries were not feigned - both starting OE wingers and
both starting centres have been ruled out of Saturday's derby
match with Blackheath - apparently three failed HIAs
