They’ve tweeted a copy of their letter on Their Twitter page.
This is a truly ridiculous situation.

       Why now?
It seems a cynical move to embarrass us with no time to rectify
       the situation.

Call me biased as I'm a cricketer (not with RTCC, although I
played my junior cricket there...), but you could equally ask
why has this not been resolved weeks ago, as the clash was clear
when the NL1 fixtures came out? Not addressing it immediately
could be seen as a cynical move to pressurise the cricket club.
Historically we used to play the first game on the playing
fields, or start with two away games, as until we reached the
Championship, playing games on Friday/Sunday was not an option
and the cricket club had tenure until the end of the (then
       Yorkshire) league season.
If the lease still says that, then that's the document everybody
needs to abide by. What are we trying to achieve by engineering
       a conflict here?
Or is the rugby club position that an agreement was reached? Or
do we have a different interpretation of the lease?

I completely agree with this, as you say, it could be a tad of
bias as I'm also a cricketer (Not at RTCC) but I echo the points
you made. This should have been resolved the moment the fixtures
came out, the fact its still an issue reflects badly on both
clubs, not just one or the other.

I’m intrigued that there’s no response from the club. This
problem was pointed out weeks ago. I’ve got a friend driving a
few miles to the match. Should he come. I suspect if match
cancelled we could get a points deduction. Will the police be
       there ?

       Rich/Reevo
If it’s a cynical ploy by the cricket club then shame on them.
If it’s us taking it for granted we can use CL then shame on us.
The truth will out but the only loser is Rotherham.

I think it''s payback time by the cricket club because they had
to cancel their first game because we left our scaffolding tower
       up jafter our last game.

I've seen somebody from the cricket club saying they've offered
Friday or Sunday, unfortunately in NL1 both clubs have to agree
to that, as does the RFU committee, whereas in the Championship
(as a theoretically fully pro league) the home team could
       dictate.
I can't see anything in the regulations that would stop the game
from going ahead on Phoenix Park though, if there's no Phoenix
       game.
