Great performance,
Solid from the word go.
The pack were very dominant.
Our new players look very sharp. The new 12 was outstanding.
Out 7 and 12 picked up injuries, hopefully not too serious.
This league is certainly played at a faster pace.
Rosslyn Park were very sharp, they caught us out a couple of
times with the quick tap penalties.
Plenty to work on but all in all that was a brilliant
performance and shows we are going to compete.
Great start to the season.

Great posts and nothing to had. Both Chris and myself were both
buzzing on the drive home. On the drive down we were nervous and
hoping we would be competitive against a dide tipped to be at or
close to the top. Well the team were class to a man.

I was most impressed with the performance, style of play and
improvements the team displayed compared to last season.
Whenever we got into the scoring zone we either returned with
points or marginally missed out. Rosslyn Park appeared shell
shocked by everything we did and their going danger came from
penalties taken quickly. The most telling remark was in the
third when Charlie Macrone said he thought we would be a
surprise to the league. I also thought that the referee was a
quantum leap forward compared to League 2 long may that last.
The only blemish was the first scrum where we got penalised but
that was probably called by the touch judge. Lets hope that the
squad can build on yesterday’s performance in the weeks to come.

Thought the new full back Ronnie Du Randt had a very good game,
but my man of the match was Harry Newborn. Tackles his heart
out. Great start to the new season and cannot wait for next home
game. I would say a 7 out of ten by the whole team.

I agree I thought Ronnie du randt had a good game really
impressed me as did mounsey and also Curran maguire.

The new players really made an impact. This league is definitely
played at a higher pace but we stood up to that and implemented
our game. Rosslyn Park was such a tough opener and we really
showed the league what we can do. It feels like the ship has
finally started to settle and we are on a definite path
forwards.
Well done to all. Long way to go, no easy games but we have
proved we can mix with the best in this league.
Come on Roth!
