Good luck to all the lads. Cannot be there myself as working
away. Hope Paddy has a great game and mostly that he enjoys it.

If I’m honest it’s probably 18 months too early for him.
He needs to pack on some beef.

All above are members of our Signed Squad, who are not getting a
Run-Out on Saturday. Lots of the players are playing in 2 of
the 20 mins sessions, and I think 4 are playing in all 3.
I think that Alfie Beadle is our only dedicated Full-Back, is he
injured. Apart from Fairhurst and Dickinson who have only just
arrived, (along with Luis Ball who is playing) are any, or all,
of the others injured.
Although we have another two games to come, I would have thought
that all fit players would have played in at leased 1 session.

The lad will do well, the Coaches think he should be on the
field, along with the Botham brothers, that's a big statement
for those lads to build on. When / If they are playing for the
Phoenix this season, they know that the Titans Coaches will have
their eyes on them for the future.

An entertaing game. Too early to draw any impressions of what is
to come. Too many penalties given away. Given that Tigers had a
number of senior players missing I thought that they could take
more out of the result than Titans.

Can’t say I was over impressed but early days. Onwards and
hopefully upwards. I think we’ve a difficult opener this season.

There were things to be impressed by:
Seb Nagle-Taylor certainly put himself about, both in attack and
defence. Front row looked very comfortable in all combinations.
Scrum going forwards and lineouts pretty secure.
Most of all, in the third session, when we had our local
youngsters on, we kept a clean sheet and scored tries. Patrick
shaw looked effective and the Bothams' kick and chase would have
produced a try with a kinder bounce at the end: Brandon's kick
was well-weighted and Steven outran the defender by some yards.
Plenty to be optimistic about.
