Most of us have said how much we've enjoyed the Rugby in Div2N.
We've seen some really good entertaining games, we've seen some
Very Good / Excellent Rugby played, mainly, thankfully by our
Lads. OK, we have had the odd game, or parts of a game, where
we struggled a bit, but if we struggled we played our way
through it and came out on top, that's the sign of a good team.
A big part of our success this season was that our Board ( Nick
and Martin ) brought Gareth and Harvey to the Club.
They brought a New Impetus to our play and let's hope that this
will carry on next season.
We Won 10 consecutive games at the beginning of the season, then
Lost a close game away to Leeds, would this knock us out of our
stride, the answer was we've Won 13 consecutive games since to
put us on Top of the League Table. Every Club needs a measure
of luck in a season and ours came when Fylde beat Leeds.
If / When we beat Tigers tomorrow we will be either 1pt or 2pts
ahead of Leeds. Then in the last game of the season away at
Billingham any Win by us will gain us Promotion.
It's not going to be an easy game tomorrow but I have every
confidence the our Lads will battle their way to the Win. We
need to go for Try's, but if Tigers give away Penalties and the
kick is within range it would be tempting to let Lloyd build the
score.
Again a Win by any score would be enough, we don't NEED a Try
bonus point.

Great looking team!
To be honest, I think Zak Poole is doing a great job in the
second row. Callum Bustin has to be No 8 for me, he is
devastating at the back of the pack. Big John is fantastic in
the back row and second row but him having the freedom to move
more in the back row is really suiting him, earning him a well
deserved Player of the Year award.
Our problem however, is massive!!!
We have such a huge and bloody good squad, it must be near on
impossible to pick the strongest side ;D It would certainly
give me a headache picking a starting line up!
Me and my dad Jim are looking forward to tomorrow. I think it
might be our last game of the season as my dad is on holiday for
the Billingham game (booo!) So i'm hoping for a big turn out,
another big performance and another 5 points.
IF we get promotion, it will be our first promotion in about 20
years and in our centenary year. What a story!
Promotion or not, this has been the most exciting season in many
years, the best squad in many years and Leeds at home - the best
game / turn out in MANY years!
Thank you to the squad, coaching staff, backroom staff,
supporters and the club as a whole. Just amazing work. It feels
like we are on solid ground after so many seasons of
uncertainty.

I'm confident we'll get the 2 wins needed but I've never been
so nervous in my life whatever happens for me personally this
season has been the most enjoyable seasons in a long long time

Looked on their site earlier and couldn't see anything.
No Calladine?
Jamie Broadley on the wing? Think he played centre for them the
last few times? He had a great game about a year ago when he got
5 or 6 penalties against us for holding on. Maybe they think we
will be more exposed out wide?
Our pack looks powerful. Just hope it goes according to form.
