We are currently 11 pts behind Leeds with a game in hand. Our
game in hand is Away to Huddersfield which we Should / Will gain
a 5 pts Win. Taking that both Leeds and the Titans both gain 5
pt Wins in all our games before we play them at the Lane on
March 23, then a Win for us would make it a really exciting
Run-In to the end of the season.
In the last but one game of the season Fylde are at Home to
Leeds, we could well be relying on Fylde to give us a Happy end
to a successful season.

Don’t forget Leeds have to visit Wharfedale on 9th March, who
are currently the only team to deny Leeds a bonus point.
We are the only team to win at Wharfedale but we didn’t get the
bonus.
Leeds though seem to be not only winning games but winning in
style, and have now a 143 points difference advantage over us.
That’s why every try scored or points conceded is crucial.
I think those two games are the ones where they could in theory
drop points, the more the better really, but if they don’t drop
points they will be able to afford losing at the Lane and still
finish top.
I guess what I can’t understand is how Leeds are, on the face of
it, so good, and are generally blowing teams away. Has their
team changed much from last season or is the gap between League
1 and 2 North more significant than we think? I know Hull
struggled last season, but Sedgley Park are better than holding
their own this time around.
Whatever, all we can do is keep winning and be ready to take
advantage of any slip ups.
