Well just back. Car Was bogged down in the mud for An hour
until a kind man with a tractor came and pulled us out
I thought we were the better team and I was right there when
Lloyd scored and he did score
As I saw the tip of the ball touch the ground. Our early game
management caused a few issues for me. We were kicking away
posession when we should have been running at them. They only
seemed to kick when they had to and put us under pressure but we
were more than a match for it. Unfortunately kicking away
possession just gave back the ball for them to run again. Was
too far away to see what happened with the yellow. However. I
am convinced we will easily take the spoils at Clifton and so
Bonus points are going to be key at the end of the season.

I refrained from posting straight away due to my huge
disappointment and wanted to make a fair assessment of what I
saw,
Firstly I didn't see anything from Leeds that was really that
magically threatening, I also didn't see these 'lighting fast
backs' I thought we were fairly evenly matched in the backs with
us having the edge in the pack.
Thought the main difference was in game management and penalty
count. They out smarted us in terms of holding onto possession,
attacking with the ball and retaining well. We just kicked far
to much possession away. 1 certain (imo pointless) kick near the
lead to their first try, accidents happen and then the yellow
card was always going to lead to a gap against a team of their
quality quality.
I'd say promotion is now over, this is not based on negativity
but based on stats, the last few seasons the promoted side have
been undefeated and now with us having a loss, less bonus
points, we have a massive hill to climb. Obviously promotion is
still possible but we have made it very hard for ourselves and
we now rely upon Leeds' results going in our favour.
The lads did a tremendous job, imo we were better man for man we
just made a few silly errors in very key positions, the penalty
count was far too high and we kept kicking away position to a
backs lead side. I think the tough pill to swallow is we lost
that game rather than them winning.
2 disallowed tries (Didn't see what happened with Dan Rundle but
his run was magnificent, Lloyd got the ball down on the line
before they got under it, me and my dad were in that corner,
despite what the Leeds fans said, he scored but that doesn't
matter as it didn't go onto the score board.
I feel we beat them at our place but not sure if it will be
enough as all they have to do is match our results in terms of
points for the rest of the season.
Mountain to climb, is it possible yes, will it happen, who
knows.

A fair assessment, Chris., although I do think, one or two of
their backs showed some cracking pace, particularly the guy who
chased Dan down, he came from behind on the opposite wing and
caught Dan, who did well to fend him off, shame it was pulled
back. Thought the penalty that lead to the 3rd try was harsh, I
had a good view and saw a clear release after the tackle, having
said that think we were fortunate with our first try as it
looked like John hsd lost contact with the ball before
grounding. It is going to be difficult, but never say never.

Great performance by the lads. I went up there wondering if they
were going to outclass us, but we showed that we are comparable
to them.
2 disallowed tries, both by interventions from the same touch
judge, I think. The penalty given which led to their 3rd and
subsequently 4th tries, was very dubious. Only needed 1 of those
decisions to go the other way and we won!
Their supporters were saying that they were surprised and
relieved when the final whistle went as they were expecting a
restart.
Noticeable the the Leeds supporters gave the officials a
standing ovation as they left the pitch.
But my football team is The Wolves, so I am getting pretty used
to this sort of thing.
