Average time for a coach at Roth 8.5 months hope this lad
managers to stay a bit longer all the best to him
Can't see Biljon staying very long first coaching job that comes
up in the championship he will be gone.

That’s why Biljon is here in a consultancy role. If he can pass
on any of the knowledge he’s gained from his playing career and
his coaching work, both of which were pretty impressive, surely
as a club we should be grateful.

I Understand what you are saying but don't you think it's odd
that coaches who come to us from clubs where they have been for
5/10 years but last on average 8.5 months with us..

It is very odd and far from satisfactory. I’ve no idea or
insight as to why this is the situation. I, like all Titans’
       supporters, wish it were different.
I believe this current group of players is possibly the
strongest we have had at this level. Maybe the powers that be
thought they were not achieving their full potential. I don’t
know and am loath to speculate!

Like others, I was taken aback to hear of Gary's departure as
things seem to be going pretty well so far this season.
However, if changes do need to be made mid season, now would
appear to be a good a time as any to do it: we have a
substantial mid-season break for people to work with, and
November looks to be a pretty crucial month with regard to our
fixtures and also for Leeds, who have a few crunch games coming
       up.
Hope it all turns out for the best.

Well out of the last few -
Adam Byron - Under performed, didn't sign the quality we needed
       Anthony Posa - Under Performed
Steve Salvin - Did a great job but left us for a job that fell
       through
Joe Barker - Again did a great job but left for Hong Kong or
       Japan I Believe
Gary Pierce - Hard to say, everything seemed to be going well
but something clearly happened - people have mentioned Gary
       wasn't present at training sessions.
Completely agree we need to establish a coaching team that stays
with us for a number of seasons - whether our new coach can do
       this I don't know...

Still in shock Gary has left but hopefully Gareth can come in
and carry on the good work and bring a bit of stability that we
need. Roll on the Otley game where we can all get to see if
Gareth has fresh ideas and hopefully carry on the momentum the
       squad have

Hi everyone. I have posted for over 20 years on the National
League forums under my Rothman2 pseudonym, and before that,
Rotherhamthruandthru on previous Roth supporters sites including
       Sportnetwork.
I attended most games home and away from the mid nineties until
the mid noughties. Having followed the fortunes of the club from
a distance, I felt moved to comment on here following latest
       developments.
Following a number of comments on here and on social media
platforms, regarding the departure of Gary and our perceived
ability to get through an unacceptable number of coaches, I was
going to comment but Chris Garbetts message hits the nail on the
       head.
The owner(s) saved our great Club back in 2004, and have
continued to support it to the present day and they have the
best interests of the club at heart.
Considering the absolute state that club rugby is in, this is a
terrific investment. Everyone has their opinions, which is fine,
but the owners make decisions in the best interests of the club,
as hard as it might be to understand on the outside,
particularly looking at the league table, and the quality of
this squad, which may well have several more gears to go through
I understand there is a meet the directors & coaches event at
the club on Tuesday week, 31st October so it would be a great
       place to be I expect.
       All the best and remember:
       SENDEMOAMWINOWTROTH!!!
