It just shows......

I had a fantastic day out yesterday at Wembley watching the
Millers win promotion!
They managed to bounce back into the second tier after what was
considered to be their worst even season.
It just shows what can be achieved if you choose the right
calibre of coach and player. Watching the post match interviews
this morning what stood out was the bond, camaraderie and team
spirit between the players and coaching staff.
Food for thought........

Attitude of player came first when rebuilding his squad.
That’s what we need.

I'm sure I saw you there Kev. I agree, no stars in the team but
their teamwork and particularly their fitness levels was
amazing. Towards the end of extra-time most of the team were
charging around like they had just kicked off. Reminded me a
little of the Blackett days, an inexperienced coach given a
chance and everyone pulling for him.

I saw quite a few Titans fans there Steve, past and present,
just shows you can enjoy both.
Paul Warne is an ex player who was the fitness ex’s coach.
Didn’t want the ‘Top Job’ but was persuaded by the chairman to
take it. He presided over a terrible season and relegation.
He got rid of players who didn’t want to play for the club and
brought in those who bought into the ethos.
They now call themselves a band of brothers and have just got
promotion.

Just got back from Holiday. I went into the Hotel's TV room
to watch the game, there were quite a lot watching it. I was
sat next to 4 lads who were shouting support for the Miller's,
I asked if they happened to be Rotherham supporters, No they
said, we support Wednesday. I said its a surprise your
shouting for the Miller's. They said "It's Rotherhams day, its
good for them, good for South Yorkshire and good for Wednesday
has it gives us more derby games.
As the heading of this thread says, IT JUST SHOWS............
I mentioned that I supported the Titans, one of them said, "I
see you've resigned Ricky Stout, I thought blimey I've got to
go to Ibiza to learn about who we've signed, again IT JUST
SHOWS........
