An excellent all round performance by our Lads, yes we made some
mistakes and yes all of Billinghams points were gifted to them.
Has some of you have said, this was the First League Game
hopefully we will rectify the type of sloppy mistakes that led
       to all of Billinghams Try's.
When was the last time we witnessed a First-Half like today, 8
Try's 8 Cons and 1 Pen. Could this be kept up in the
Second-Half, well our Lads did their best running in a further 3
Try's. Only surprise was Lloyd showing he's Human by missing 2
Conversions, but he kicked 6 Cons and scored 2 Try's which puts
him on Top of the League scoring table.
The way the Squad played today, and barring injury, I can see
him being up there at the seasons end.
Really good performances from all of our players today, but I
would like to mention Lawrence Cowen-Leak, I watched him in the
2 Home friendlies and in todays game. He puts in a tremendous
amount of work, most probably missed by the many. He's involved
in most of our Forward Play going forwards, and carries the ball
       very well.
I'm feeling a bit sick now, away next week followed by two home
games, I don't travel away now and will be on Holliday for the
Home games. I'll keep in touch with what's happening while I'm
away, but it's going to seem like a Long, Long time before I see
another game. Hopefully I'll have plenty to cheer about while
       I'm lazing in the Sun.

On the Clubs site in the report of the game, it gave the Gate at
       250. It looked quite a bit Bigger than that to me ??

Thoroughly enjoyed the game and credit to Billingham, who as a
fully amateur side (I understand the players pay to play)
competed well in the first half. Certainly the best opening game
of a season from the Titans for quite a while, and whilst there
were a few negatives, these were far outweighed by the
positives. Although we had forward dominance from the start it
was impressisive that the first 3 tries came from running rugby,
before the forward driven rolling maul for the 4th. A good sign
of things to come at the Lane this season.

Their match reviewer has a highly idiosyncratic delivery; took
me longer to read it than it did to watch the match.
I am definitely more at ease with our match reports, I think.

I thought that is a good and honest report, but you need a
Coffee, a Sandwich and a Comfortable Chair to relax in, before
       you read it.
Lloyd Hayes has been voted as Player of the Week in NLN. Well
       done Lloyd.

A few things to work on but overall a very good 1st game of the
season. I thought billingham were decent but shouldn't have
scored 24 points past us. Thought all the lads looked good but
for me Cowan leak and tanumi just shaded it as player of the
match . A lot of potential in this team and very early days but
can see a successful season this year if we play the way we can
. Roll on wharfedale. Come on Roth
