A good win. Gave away far too many penalties. Careless long pass
led to intercept try. A good start against a lively side.
The BBC has awarded 4 points. Has the bonus point been abolished
along with tackling?

BBC have now updated points to 5.
Very enjoyable game. Billingham were very quick and alert to
opportunities. Or pack mashed them though, so it was always
going to be hard for them. Good to see Matt Smith bach; the line
out worked well while he was on.
Lloyd was impressive and the new no 9, JB, looked very assured.
Impressive start by Lawrence Cowan Leak. Hope Callum Bustin's
injury is not serious.
Looking forward to next week already.

Lot's of tight results, we seem to have taken a good lead. Are
Billingham off the mark or are we very strong? Only time will
tell.
Great result for the lads, always going to be some errors in
early games and the lads will still be getting used to the new
tackling rules!
Lloyd Hayes off to a great start in retaining the top points
scoring title!

Enjoyable game. Yes a few too many penalties and a couple of
tries that were given too easy. However it is the first game and
the positives far far outweighed a few early season errors. We
could have notched 80 points today
They were a lively side but we dominated and to a man we played
really well
We were smiling all the way home. Billingham had a good win
against Wharfedale and so will be competitive I think
I am very hopeful for this season, but it is a really tough
league to win but we will be up there at the end of the season.
