Spoke to Zac who confirmed that he will be with us next season,
his partner said " He loves it here and is going nowhere,
he'll be here for a few years yet ".
I hope she's right.
Found out about a few more who are staying, of course I'll say
nothing until the Club announces them on the Official Site or
thro the Advertiser, what I will say is I'm happy with what
I've heard, a very good start.
Heard one thing today that made me feel Sad, but also Happy.
Sam Veall is Leaving ( Sad ). Sam is moving to Australia (
Happy for him, hope he does well there ).
It will soon be the end of the season and hopefully, not too
long after, we'll start to hear the names of Players who are
Leaving, Staying and Coming In.
We'll end up with a Squad for next season, and whoever they are,
we will give them all the Very Best Support that we can give.

It's good to hear that Recruitment for the 2023 / 24 season is
moving on apace, with the Majority of the Squad already in
place.
Martin Jenkinson has done a great job and we've brought in 70%
of what we want. The Club is trying to be a bit more selective
in who we want to keep it competitive.
There's around 3 or 4 more Players to bring in to hopefully
complete the Squad.
Clive Griffiths has been around the Club for the past few weeks
helping out with Defence and Structure Work, he could be
involved during the Summer and hopefully into next season. Gary
Pearce says that the Club is trying to build a Coaching Team so
that we can call upon what we need. He says that the Titans
Squad that turn out next season will not be bettered for
fitness. There going to be properly licked into shape in
Pre-Season and they'll do so under a fuller Coaching Team, with
Centre Tomasi Tanumi helping out with the Backs and Calum
Donohoe with the fitness side.

It really does sound good Winger. I think Gary Pearce has
brought a level of professionalism that we haven't seen since
the champ days, he has brought direction, a clear vision for
what he wants and great leadership. For a number of seasons I
have felt we have been a little thin in the coaching departments
compared to other clubs and Gary seems to be addressing this
brilliantly. Tomasi Tanumi has been an amazing signing, I
haven't had the pleasure of watching him play yet but he seems
to have made a real impact from what I have been reading. We
have missed that pacific islander flair and direct style for
quite a number of seasons.
Great to see Clive Griffiths getting involved, he was phenomenal
for Doncaster for all those years and has a wealth of experience
to bring to us. These kind of people will give our a lads an
edge in the semi pro game!
Feeling good about next year, hopefully this is a new era for
the club!

I would think that it's getting close now for signings names to
be released, it's generally around this time. Lots of our
current squad have already re-signed, that's good, but it's also
the New Signings that grab our attention, Who will they be,
How good will they be, Will they make the squad stronger, Will
they alter our style of play.
Off course these questions will be answered, it's just a matter
of being patient.
We had a good start to last season and an excellent finish, if
we can get the middle bit right this season we should do really
well.
The Club will once again aim for the Top and we'll go along for
the ride, hoping it's not too bumpy.

Recent article in Advertiser said specialist fly half & scrum
half were a priority, given their pivotal role on the field, be
very interseting to see who is brought in.

Agree with you there Stingray, important that 9 + 10 work well
together. Same as you I can't wait to see who is brought in.
Lloyd has played well at Stand-Off but I would prefer to see him
at Full Back or Inside Centre, coming into the line from FB or
making breaks from IC, his Strength is an asset in both these
positions.

Off on Holiday early tomorrow, but will keep in touch with our
comings and goings. I would think that our squad will be just
about complete by now, maybe 1 o2 more then the names should
start to be announced. This is always an exciting time of
Pre-Season and hopefully we'll be happy with what we see.
We have heard that a new 9 and 10 are being brought in, as these
are Pivotal positions in the team it's important that they work
well together.
We have retained some very good players and hopefully the new
players will significantly strengthen the squad.
Once again we'll be Aiming for the Top and hopefully this time
we'll be successful. If we get there, Fantastic, if not then as
long has the Lads give their best in every game and finish in
the top three, then I'll be disappointed again but will be
satisfied.
