New Coach

Good to hear that there has been lots of interest in the
position. The Club will start interviewing prospective
candidates in the New Year.
Hopefully some good new for us to look forwards too. As we have
Smithy as Forwards Coach, I would like to see a Back ( ex or
current) as the New Coach.

Winger was the name E. Jones one of the names you’ve heard
mentioned putting his name forward? I gather he’s looking for a
new job.

Regarding Mr Jones I haven't heard his name mentioned, I doubt
that he'd come, he wouldn't cope with our dialect in these
parts.

I think Bester is coaching a Pro D2 team in France. Last time I
checked he was anyway.

It doesn't seem 10yrs since Andre left the Club, for the 2nd
time ( 2010 - 2012 ).
He resigned after a two-day disciplinary hearing, this hearing
was the result of a Breakdown in Communications and alleged
Breaches of Discipline stemming from an argument with former
Forwards Coach, Ben Wade. I remember this " Second Coming "
being highly debated by Supporters at the time and probably
still would be now.
At the time he left we were 6th in the Championship. The first
game after he left was at Home to Doncaster, we Won 38 - 20.
