consent"??

We just don't seem to be able to hold onto a coach for a full
season.

Put it another way. Do you think it is acceptable for Titans
season to be over by mid November?
It implies to me that Titans are a club with ambition and the
Directors recognise that fact.

Suspect Martin wil take the reins again maybe with Matt Smith as
assistant. Just hope a new coach is appointed well before the
start of next season so he has input to player recruitment. Mr
Posa hinted that was one of the issues during his short tenure.

Strange,
Good luck to Baz for the future.
I can't put my finger on what has gone wrong. After the first
game or 2 of the season I was very excited. We were playing fast
flowing rugby, good offloading game, man on each shoulder when
we broke the line etc. I'm not sure where this has gone. I'm not
sure if Baz is to blame but the fact he has left does suggest
our ambition is definitely promotion. I can't see us getting
promotion now unless Sedge and Fylde completely fall apart and
we go unbeaten.
I didn't think we needed to replace the coach, I was more in the
mind that the team just needed more time to gel together but
maybe it's the right decision.
On balance I do have a few questions,
Where is Harry Newborn ? He has been a standout performer for us
and I thought we retained him? Our new young hooker is one for
the future but for me hasn't quite got the physicality yet at
his young age. Definitely has the skills and potential to be
great (Maybe as a back rower in the model of the jackal Jack
Preece)
Why have we switched Pooley and Callum Bustin? Poole is an
outstanding player and has been fantastic for us over the last
few seasons and is by no means a bad No 8 however Callum was our
top scorer last season at 8 and our biggest ball carrying
threat. If it's not broke then don't fix it. (I want to
reiterate no disrespect to Zakk what so ever who is a true
Rotherham Club man and outstanding back rower and captain)
What is this relentless kicking tactic ? We have talented backs
- let's use them - With Baz being a back in his playing days I
thought we would see more of this play. Maybe its not his call
though?
How are we still messing line outs up?
Why are we missing touch so regularly from penalties - once or
twice here and there is completely normal but it seems to happen
all too often.
Discipline or lack of - Penalty count is ridiculous
Pack dominance - with the quality of our pack we should be
steamrolling most sides.
This season now is about building for next year. I hope the lads
have a good rest over this next week or so, pick them selves up
and go again.
