Very fair points Winger and may I add that I think it is one of
the most 'upset with the performance' posts I have seen you
make. Not a criticism just a measure of feeli g if it has
affected you in such a way. I have seen you find positivity when
others have struggled. I agree with you about the wingers also,
they look very dangerous and with Dunny and Lloyd also to attack
we should be In a great backs position.

Thanks for that Jim. I did let yesterday's defeat get to me,
not that we were defeated but the way in which it happened. It
was a game that we SHOULD have Won but we allowed Tigers to
dictate too much of the game. I know that the Lads go out every
game to give their best and that everything that's Coached in
training doesn't always come to fruition in a game. We did have
some good periods of play but our play was disjointed by the
number of Penalties we conceded, was that Our fault, the Refs
fault or a mixture of Both ?. If it was Our fault then we must
find a remedy.
Anyway, it's on to the next game, I'm sure that our Coaches and
Players were hurt by yesterday's result so will be working on
putting things right for our game at Otley on the 26th November.

We have a way to go as a team. We have all the attributes to be
the strongest side in the league and gain promotion however
consistency, mistakes and ill discipline are letting us down. We
need to stick together and start growing our performances. Every
side has an off day but we have had a few too many, too early in
a season. Another thing to think about is do actually we want
promotion ?
What are the benefits? What are the draw backs? Have we just
found our level as a strong NAT 2N side? I don't know, but the
squad at the moment, are nowhere near ready for National 1 and I
don't fancy another season of watching us get beat week in week
out.
However if we keep the squad together for a few more seasons we
will be a very strong, gelled side.
Things I would like to see are Callum Bustin back at No8, Poole
back to Flanker, stopping the aimless kicking, our extremely
talented wingers getting way more ball and to start playing good
rugby again!

Have to agree with some of the points already made: a
disappointing result, Tigers were definitely up for it,
officials made made a number of mistakes - but not as many as we
did.
I made it 5 or 6 good scoring chances we didn't finish. 3
knock-ons as we were about to cross the line, a pass to the
winger reaching him behind his ankles, overthrown lineout on
their 5 metre line, penalty into the corner and the kick didn't
make touch, etc. If we had taken even half of them, it would
have been a comfortable win.
But Tigers last-ditch defence was commendable - they didn't give
anything up. And Jamie Broadley! Not just the individual try in
the first minute, but the number of times he won them penalties
for us holding on was ridiculous. He was always there and quick.
Can't agree the season is over. It's just a normal season - take
each game as it comes and try to win them. Roll on Otley. We've
had some interesting times there in the past and I don't think
this visit will be entirely straightforward.

Some excellent comments and observations made regarding this
game. This is what the Forum is about, Fair, Balanced
criticism when needed, and Praise if we think the Lads have
performed well, even if we lost the game. I've said this many
times before, "I wish more of our readers would join as
Posters". The more comments we get the better idea we will have
of how our supporters feel about games, and how the Club is
performing in general.
Supporters make an Hell of a Noise from around the Ground, and
from the Shed in particular as the sound echo's from in there.
I Know that the Players really appreciate the vocal support that
we give. People at the Club, including players, look on this
Forum. So let's make more ' Noise ' on here, has long as any
comments are Fair wether Praise or Criticism I'm sure these will
also be appreciated.
To all supporters who do contribute by Postings -----------
THANKS.
