Today Bedford Blues Has Announced That We Will Be Playing a
Pre-Season Friendly Against Them On Saturday 20th August At
Their Ground Goldington Road With a 1pm Kick Off (Unless
Changes)
Usually Pre-Season Friendly’s Are Usually Free Admission However
They Are Charging To Get In On The Day For Us & Bedford
Supporters.
There is No Concession Prices, Just Adult & Children Prices.
There is an Option To Save Money If Buy Online Now At…..

Or It Will cost a Bit More Then Listed On The Website Now Then
On The Day.
For Example Cheapest Is £10 Each Adult If Buy Online Now Or It’s
£14 Each Adult If Pay On The Day.

Definitely seems steep for a friendly but will be a great test
for the boys!

Championship clubs need the revenue, possibly more so now, as
the funding from the RFU is minimal at best, or zero.

Definitely steep for a pre-season game and one doesn’t know if
there will be a coach for supporters. Even at £10 on the day is
expensive but to have to pay £14, well that’s something else. If
one considers travel, refreshments etc will work out to be an
expensive outing. Will be a good fixture though and quite a
challenge for the team.

A bit steep but a great challenge for the boys. This will be a
good test and should set the lads up for another long tough
season.
It will be very interesting to see how we compete against a
champ club. I think our pack will stand up but we might just
lack a bit of pace and endurance in comparison to the
championship level sides, however you never know, just look at
Caldy!
