       Kev,
I think our directors have done everything humanly possible over
the years to keep us afloat and taste some success in the
       Championship.
Let’s trust them to try their hardest to get us back up there.
But we have to be realistic with the budget we have.

I agree John that they have keep the club alive, buts let’s not
       get carried away....
Is it 10 coaches in 13 seasons or the other around?
That’s says a lot for me.
We’ve had too many ‘false dawns’ these last few years, a lot of
fans patience has worn thin. Hence the drop in attendance,
which won’t improve next season. Although I’ll still be
       there....

The main problem was the Lee era. We were spoiled rotten and
every coach since has lived in his shadow on and off the pitch.
I have no false expectations, it’s going to be very tough.
It is however a chance to regroup and try to formulate a more
       achievable business plan.

Absolutely no criticism of the directors who saved the club and
will do again but the main problem is cash or lack of it.

I'll put my hands up - I haven't been to watch a match all
season, which for me is unheard of. My Dad will be turning in
his grave when I admit that I've started taking my boys to New
York rather than Clifton Lane and, apart from missing old
friends at the club, I've enjoyed the wendyball more than I
thought I would. The reasons for my dramatic shift are more than
just getting dissolutioned with the club's performances and
general desire to improve - it's as much to do with the dire
state of semi-pro rugby as a whole; meaningless competitions and
value for money as a family sporting occasion. For me the lights
started to go out once we had all the shenanigans with Andre
Bester. When he was at the club we had some fire and soul, and
frankly I'd quite happily pay to see more of that style (the
Titans style!) rugby again. Yes Lee was very successful but he
didn't add the mojo that Andre did.
Now we are in danger of sliding straight out the trapdoor again.
The 'big announcement' in the 'Tiser was nothing of the sort...
and certainly didn't tell us anything we didn't already know.
Par for the course as far as the 'Tiser goes! I really admire
all our Directors who have committed themselves and their own
money to shoring up the club over the years and I really hope
that a spark of the 'Titans Spirit' can help light the fires of
a new biblical resurrection. Maybe Rotherham Phoenix is a more
       appropriate title now?!

       FROM THE RUGBY PAPER
Titans Chairman Nick Cragg is bullish about the future and
insists the Titans will have the financial muscle to mount a
       serious promotion challenge next season.
He says " We'll be resourced to the extent where we can make a
real go of it and our intention is to come straight back up".
He confirmed that the Titans would move to a part-time model and
that DoR Martin Jenkinson will take on a much more active Rugby
       role.
While Nic Rouse is rumoured to be returning to Nottingham,
assistant Ed Robinson could stay on. Nick Cragg said: "Martin
will be more hands on than he has been this season which will
benefit the Club greatly. He is putting together his Coaching
team and has interested parties who'd like to be involved in
that. I think it will be a couple of weeks before that is all
       put together.
We are going well with our player recruitment. We have seven
players who have already shown interest and we've no reason to
believe that they won't follow that through.
