Hi my name is Taylor but a lot of people I know call me TShead
(pronounced: "tee-shed").
I drive a pearl white 96 autotragic ka24de 240sx se with a
golden bumper. Oh ya. Currently the engine is all apart because
I had bottom end problems after fixing some valve seals on the
top end. What a sick coincidence :-\....anyways a different
engine is going in. Got a 93 ka24de with emissions removed and
supposedly new rod bearings and 185psi across the board. Keepin'
fingers crossed on those ones.
Mod list:
AEM intake
BBP 4-2-1 longtube header
3" test pipe
2.5" exhaust
2.5" Magnaflow oval muffler
Nismo trans mount
88rotors.com slotted & drilled rotor
Hawk HPS front and PBR XGB rear pads
eBay front strut bar
eBay rucas
KYB GR2 struts (almost dead)
She has been through a lot:

Bought it with a front end salvage title....but it was in
awesome shape.

First and only drifting incident. Curbed it. Not too bad. $50
fix.
December 2009:

Hydroplaned on the highway, spun, hit the concrete divider. No
idea how the tail lights were untouched lol. (No, I wasn't
trying to drift either lol) Also shattered my trans
mount...that's why I have my Nismo one.
2010-2011:
I no longer care about the looks of my car lol...well to a
certain extent.

Present Day:
Pullin' it apart...

The plan after I put the motor in is to keep it simple. No more
modding the daily driver because now I have a spare engine to
build. The only thing I might do is 5spd swap it. All I need is
a pedal assembly, clutch fork (maybe), and a driveshaft
(ordering one from the Driveshaft Shop).
The long term plan is to build it up to enter in to the G2
RallyCar (Rally America) stage rally class. (2WD, n/a, under
3080cc, etc). I want to hit the stages by 2013...hopefully the
Roxton Rallye de Paris in the Spring. I have to stay n/a for G2
so as far as motor mods...if everything goes according to plan
it will be getting 11.1:1 cr Wiseco pistons, OBX overdrive
pulleys (not the crank pulley), replace my 4-2-1 header with a
shorty 4-1, and maybe some 370cc injectors + tune. Also, I have
some 4.60 gears and BC stage 2 cams that will be thrown in. But
the very next thing to do is get my suspension...hopefully I
will have the money saved up for that by the end of the year.
LOL. Well I know a rally specialist in Washington who does
custom rally coilovers for basically any vehicle for around $2k
(which is a fine deal regarding rally coilovers). Here is some
of his stuff:

Well, that's the plan and I'm keeping my fingers crossed!

Danm!
Been through a lot with her! Welcome!
Sounds like you know exactly whats going on and what you want
with her too.
Once you get back into loving the car after a wreck, you start
caring about the looks more, im the same way after my wrecks ha.
Kool to see the pictures and the progress!

Sure have, haha.
I kinda do, just trying not to bite off more than I can chew, ya
know? Don't get me wrong, I still love my car, but to me it
isn't worth it to keep the looks fresh with my future plans for
it and all. haha. I will paint the bumper probably this
summer...rattle can white just like my tail light center piece
(I did as a test for color-matching).
Before it hits the stages I hope to get a 90's Altima or
Hardbody truck (with the KA) for DD use and those will stay as
clean as possible.

I sure hope so. It's going to be a big investment and school may
put it off till later but I will definitely try. I will at least
make it dirt/off-road capable by the end of 2012 if I don't make
it officially stage capable per the RallyCar ruleset.
