After learning more about these cars, Evo's use to be called
"Galant Ralliarts" over in Japan, which is where it gets its
name from. So Mitsu's Ralliart division came out with there own
slightly detuned Evo X with the Evo 9 drivetrain, but Mitsu of
America was so proud of the Evo name they took away the wide
body kit and gave it its own (its different than the GTS one),
and put a smaller turbo in it all while slapping the 26lbs GTS
rims on it. We all know how america lives and judges off mainly
cosmetic differences and numbers rather than the fact of the
matter.
Everything about the car is inner-changeable with the X model,
its weird. Some guy removed the SST tranny and put the GSR
manual gearbox and tranny in his Ralliart and he did it
effortlessly, bolted right up. Even the TCU in the SST tranny
from the MR can be put into a ralliart no problem and give it
S-Sport mode and launch control.
Anyways, yeah I'll be there tomorrow for sure. I've been saving
up for my next set of upgrades. The SST clutch upgrade + labor
is damn near $4000. Although the turbo would be capable of 500+
whp, I just want 450whp/450wtq since its still my DD
