I would say Halo 2 I believe, the first one with online play. I
had so much fun as a kid with this game.

If we are talking series....Halo and Mechwarrior series for PC.
Mechwarrior can own my focus for hours on end sometimes and is
constantly being patched.

Total Annihilation would get 1st overall me thinks.
In terms of amount of time played World of Warcraft.
In terms of just overall added happiness to my life, Minecraft.

total annhilation is badass game. the same makers made another
game supreme commander. which isnt as good but is still fun. i
like all the c&c games generals being my fav.

Not sure. As far as time goes, World of Warcraft takes the cake.
Matt, I liked Total Annihilation... but it wasn't my "favorite"
of the time and genre. The Command and Conquer series takes that
award.
My absolute favorite games ever, to where they rarely get
boring, are..
Team Fortress II
Garry's Mod (For lulz.)
UT2004
Red Alert II and Yuri's Revenge
Super Smash Bros. (N64, ****es)
Super Mario Kart
Minecraft - Can get boring
Morrowind
Skyrim
Diablo series - Can get boring after while
Now, as far as when I was a kid?
Red Alert II and Yuri's Revenge
Duke Nukum (Before they changed it to Duke Nukem) was so
addicting. I loved that game. Back when our computer was MS-DOS.
MS-DOS, DAMMIT.

Wow...that's a hard one. I would say my top are: Legend of Zelda
OoT, Halo(All of them) and Borderlands.
