       Car Problem

       I have a 1995 300zx standard and when I accelerate I can hear a
       rattling sound. It only does it while accelerating. My friends
       say its the through out bearing but I don't know. Any thoughts?

       Hm, Does it seem to be coming from anywhere you can pinpoint, or
       just general engine bay area?

       only accel? does it do it if your at high rpms and push the
       clutch in? sounds like knocking valves from carbon build up or
       collapsed/wrong clearance in lifters/shims. although i dont know
       anything about your car or what you've messed with. it could be
       as simple as a broken exhaust hanger, collapsed/weak engine
       mount allowing the engine to twist harder under accel and
       hitting heat shields. we need more details, lots more.
