NEXT SUNDAY'S MEET 3/18/12 WILL BE SHUT DOWN.
IF YOU LIKE BEING APART OF THIS GROWING MEET, PLEASE READ BELOW.
We understand that as the meet grows, we will have on going
problems. But the problems have been minor, which is good. BUT.
Tonight was a perfect example, when someone new is coming out,
and you know them, PLEASE tell them the rules, we have them
posted on all three of our sites, AND EVERYONE KNOWS THEM THAT
ATTENDS REGULARLY SO SPREAD THE WORD. Now I am going to say this
as nicely, and professionally as I can. If you are going to race
before the meet, do not come to the fucking meets. How naive and
oblivious can you be? "Yo, lets race then go to a huge car meet,
cops wont find us". Newsflash friends, they will, and if they
don't someone else (Citizen) will. If you know someone that
knows someone that knows that someone. Let them know we do not
tolerate and of this behavior, and the next time we see this
activity from these individuals we will take the license plate
down, and every time we see you, we WILL report any illegal
activity. Everyone loves the meet, and how chill they are, and
just hanging out, so we need EVERYONES help to let us keep doing
this. IF you invite friends, let them know the rules, if you
know a friend that is inviting friends, pass on the word of the
rules. It takes all of us to keep this going, so help out. I
don't care what kind of Cars/Trucks/Bikes come out, but if you
act like the ones that came out today, you are considered a
RICER and you are looked upon. No one thinks you are cool, no
one looks up to you, no one cares. You look like a DUMBASS and
you ruin the good things for the good people. So stay the fuck
away from our meets :). Now also, for the ones that will
complain about situations like this, they will come about, they
will be handled. If you don't like when things like this happen,
try to help, or don't come. Even the biggest meets that go on
around Texas, or even the US have problems, its just how it is.
So again we all need to help each other for us to have a fun,
safe, chill meet.
With all of this said, here is the deal. The garages are owned
by the city, Townsquare is not. Cops run the garage, so they are
able to tell us to leave whenever they want. BUT, the good thing
is, for instance where we met tonight (which was still huge and
fun) is okay, because we were supporting five guys (Or any
business). We talked to many cops and they were perfectly okay
with this, all they ask is the following. AND GUESS WHAT, THEY
ARE IN ARE RULES.
-No revving
-No speeding
-No loud shouting/Talking
-No speeding
-PICK UP TRASH
That is all, I mean its not that much for us to be there, they
like what we do, they like that we keep racing off the streets
and make it into a meet, so lets follow these rules and keep
having these meets. We will have a few more locations coming up
so please just stay posted. as of now
NEXT SUNDAY'S MEET 3/18/12 WILL BE SHUT DOWN. Again,
TEXASIMPORTSTODAY will not be holding a meet that sunday, so
please do not show up, we will keep you all updated on location.
IF we can work together and keep all the nonsense out, we can be
in the garage, but the only way to do this is to follow all the
rules and create NO attention to us.
Every cop I have talked to have said the this " I like what you
guys are doing, we never get called out, most the time we just
see you guys and see whats going on, we do not have a problem
with what you guys do, just" and they tell us the rules.
So, please help us keep our location, and thank you all to the
ones who follow the rules, and come out every sunday. We will
see you guys soon and keep you posted on all of our pages.
