I love how everyone is picking "the best car manufacturer" off a
single car from the line up...

Fact: The X6M runs an 8:24 around the Nurburgring. According to
the list I have, that bests a Lotus Exige S, Evo VII, a Cayman S
and an RS4. It also, according to the time list I have, beats
out the revered and worshiped R34 GT-R. This coming from a 5000
lbs pig of an SUV.

Benz. Who else offers v12's in 4drs, 2drs, convertibles. who
offers 500hp engines in just about any of there cars or suv's?
anyone ever driven a 500hp suv, nothing like smoking that
toolbag in his 911 in your soccer mommy r63. sure they are
expensive but you get what you pay for.

Id say VW since its now all related to Bently, Audi, porsche,
bugatti and even Lamborghini (pretty sure that's the group)
making up the most technicological and exotic cars available.
They're also the third largest auto maker behind GM and Toyota.
I also agree with Diamler-Chrysler/Mercedes Benz as being one of
the greats. Though not so hot on chryslers current car line up.
GM and ford do make up a large part of the automotive world but
I don't think they really present anything in terms of
innovation compared to the vw group.

no more chrysler, benz and diamler dropped the money pit crap
hole a few years back. Seriously how dumb is company thats going
bankrupt and stops production of a profitable car - the viper,
but says "its not enough profit", um your going bankrupt it
doesnt matter that it doesnt make enough when its the only thing
you build that makes money because its not a huge cheap pile of
shit. haha

I would say, truck wise, the Ford Raptor has the best overall
performance on and offroad. However, as a car, GM, the 2009
Corvette ZR1 with a partially carbon fiber body for weight
reduction, and running a supercharger under the hood, definitely
sounds the best and has preferable performance able to catch up
to the Nissan GTR which would get a better jump off the line
only because of its all wheel drive. So my opinion is Chevy
Corvette ZR1
