Broke my downpipe in the M3 on a fun twisty country road going
the back way to our lake house for the 4th. The tall crown in
the road was making me scrape a ton, and then no boost. The hose
clamp had worn all the way through and the boost then blew off
the pipe. Thankfully it made some horrible noises so we stopped
right away and we were able to secure it up a bit enough to get
to the lake. New hose clamp from autozone and she is almost as
good as new. I need to get a new downpipe, coupler and the nice
hose clamps, as it's all getting a bit warn out from scraping on
things down there. More projects! JOY!

Pulling out of the driveway in the M3 yesterday the main bolt
through the front right lower control arm that centers it to the
subframe sheared of at the nut. Fun times. I hate my driveway.
Not thinking, I reversed the car back up the driveway and put it
in my garage, then got out my jack to figure out what the
horrible noise was. I very quickly saw the sheared bolt, but
with the car on the jack, the suspension unbound and the whole
control arm fell out of the bushing... sigh. With the bolt
sheared off there is no way to keep the arm in the rear bushing
so the whole wheel just goes where it wants... fun.
Today I call up PTP and get a tow truck on the way. They sent
out Two Bit Tow, who I now know are the gods of towing. Most
guys would not have put in this much work to get a car moved. We
spent almost an hour getting it out of my garage, turned around
and down the driveway. We used two jacks, and quite a bit of
brute force and careful maneuvering, but we got it out. Big
Thanks to Curtis for the great work.
While it's there I am getting them to finally replace that
messed up charge pipe, put in a new in tank fuel pump, and a new
       fan clutch. Fun times.
