Its an option from mitsubishi. It comes standard on a GSR which
is the manual version, but on the MR it has to be requested or
already may come with it.
This is the sss package on a GSR.

The side skirts are known to be stepped on constantly by women
getting out of the passenger side. This issue is so common they
have a sticker that reminds passengers not to do it.

So when u get the more expensive car the standard parts become
optional. That makes sense lol
And gsr's are only manual? I thought they had flappy paddles?

MR is SST dual clutch tranny. The GSR is manual. Both have
launch control

See thats so weird. Gts's have the SST, and RA's have SST but
gsr's dont? Thats stupid lol

Gts does not have the SST. Thats a CVT tranny

Hi,
For sale I have my 2010 Tarmac Black Lancer Ralliart. The car
is everything it should be and pulls like no other! The car
currently has a little under 20k miles on it. All miles are
from daily driving. I have only been out to the drag strip a
few times and never ran more than a 2-5 times each visit and was
able to pull an 11.9 in a 1/4 mile!
The car currently has an E85 and 93 Octane map on the Cobb
Accessport that comes with it. The stock clutches are holding
the power perfectly and Cobb Tuning did a good job making sure
it does from the tune. This car on E85 is a torque nightmare
and sometimes scares me when I WOT. Per the Cobb Accessport the
car is capable of doing a 0-60 in 3.5 seconds off a launch.
This car has on numerous occasions destroyed other cars in drag
racing. This car is rare, and definitely the ultimate sleeper!

Reason for sale - I'm looking to do road racing and tracking, so
the Evo X is going to be more up my alley due to the drivetrain
difference. I would much rather a fellow enthusiast have this
rather than give it to the dealership and have someone deal with
sales taxes and mark ups.
Cons - There are a few cosmetic issues. The Evo 8 wing clear
coat has started to peel, but the CF is still fine. There is a
few scratches on the side of the front fender and there is one
scratch on the hood. Other than that, everything is perfect!
KBB marked this car at $22k and I have taken off $500 for
cosmetic issues + there are $5k in mods, asking for $24,000. No

The SST keeps the turbo in spooling range in all gear ranges.
Even the SST in my Ralliart is impressive, damn impressive.
Stock MR's have easily kept up with modded GSR's on tracks.
I'll let you try it out sometime.
The MR is heavier than the RA, which is why the RA is capable of
running 11's in a 1/4 mile, but 11's seconds of fun vs. a 3
miles of a track just doesn't compare.
There is a lip spoiler on the MR, I cant seem to find any MR's
that have the SSS body kit around dallas, which comes with the
big wing and side skirts. Regardless the car still comes with
the wide body kit to fit wider tires. Most guys in my club run
18x10.5 rims np

I couldn't let this one go, I'm sorry, the Evo is just not a
wide body RA or lancer, the entire drive train is different, the
RA is basicaly a Evo 9 AWD system while the EvoX has a whole new
drive train which naturally comes with a wider stance. It's not
just to fit wider tires, the drivetrain its self is wider as
well. There are a few other things, but it doesn't matter, just
wanted to clean that up though. Sorry to thread jack.

If you're going to modify your car for more power I highly
recommend getting the gsr, as posted earlier, that slushbox of a
transmission can't handle large amounts of power that can be
easily made from a tastefully modified evo. If you plan on
making anything over 400whp I highly recommend against it.
on the other hand if you plan to keep the stock turbo and enjoy
paddles more than a good ol stick that will be a fun autoX/track
day car. just plan on getting a surge kit for good fuel delivery
under heavy cornering evo X's are the only one's with this
problem. kevin at evodynamics can hook you up on that they make
them in house. They have an evo X car they run in NASA TT (GSR)
that is extremely competitive in his class, could probably talk
to them about their suspension setup and other things as well.
