       Future Plans

Ok so most of you drive cars That need little help in the way of
addons but here is a little plan I have. I am starting out with
designing and testing intakes and exhaust for my lancer 2.4 and
my wifes versa. These things I will be working on in the next
few month. This includes SRI/CAI, header and cat backs for both
       cars.
As previously stated in another thread and since I happen to
have 2 front wheel drive cars and maby a 914 I am looking in to
doing an all wheel drive set up on these cars. I am not going
the traditional route for this as I am looking for power and gas
milage. You can probably guess what I am thinking. This will
be in the planning and build stage for a year to two years
before it is complete on the first car.
The costs so far are rediculase and I could buy a used car for
the cost of it but I am looking at ways to lessen the blow to my
finances which is what is going to take the most time. I will
be looking in to further front wheel drive cars after I get the
first few built due to the fact that it is easier to do this
than try and work around an engine in a rear wheel drive car.
I can not give you more information as it is still in my head
and I still need to pull it out and put it on paper.

There is a reason there is no 4 wheel drive versa. Because no
one needs a 4 wheel drive versa.
Why would people upgrade a base 2 wheel drive lancer using some
kit when they can just buy a 4 wheel drive one from the factory
       or used for almost nothing.
You want 4 wheel drive for fuel economy? wut? Were you drunk
       when you wrote this?
You are correct, it is quite "rediculase."

Key word for this is hybrid. I do not plan on pushing power
from the divetrain to the rear wheels.

u got me there, im confused, u plan putting another engine on
       the car?
im visitin my family in venezuela right now, and there r alot of
4wd cars here that are rally editions that done come out in the
US like the corolla, focus, many renault clio & megane, hyunday
accent. pretty much all the rally cars, have a rally edition
production car here, i think they should do it in the US like
       that

I am think a true hybrid, engine controls front wheel drive and
electric motor/s on pushing the rear wheels. As for keeping the
power for the electric there are so many options to look at but
I am working on narrowing them down. I might have a 914 to work
on which will be good since it is a mid engine rear wheel drive
car and I can build the front to for the electric portion.

You never said anything about making a hybrid in your first
post. If you had, I would have thought you were even more crazy.
       Good luck!

You are correct I just reread my original post and realized I
left the whole sentence out regarding going the hybrid route.

Don't know if this is the correct listing to put this but I need
some advice.... I have a 2011 WRX Impreza and was told to do a
muffler delete and do straight piping.... any pros and cons on
this? will this void warranty and ultimately will I feel a
change in anything as in power, your help is greatly
       appreciated.
