Although I know the M3 is a great performing car and I hold it
in the highest regard...I've really never wanted one.

Well since the .2 liter add on they had to reduce the redline
from 8,800 rpm to 8,000 rpm with a cutout at 8,200 rpm, because
the longer travel of the pistons. High 400 hp you will be okay,
more than that need to have some small uprageds etc to have it
handle 500. Your looking at an upgraded clutch for sure and
injectors. maybe around 875cc.

Yeah that's what i was wondering. I didn't know if it was
increased bore or stroke but from what you said it sounds like
it's increased stroke.
I'm wanting something fun. I'd define that as something
powerful and fast that will put you back in your seat. I also
want it to handle quite well. I wont be tracking the car more
than likely since track time is retarded expensive but I still
want great driving feel and ability. I also want something that
is nice to look at too. I don't want some beater with rust all
over it that looks like it may die at any moment.
Get a C6 'Vette. Earlier ones with the LS2 are getting cheaper,
insurance is low, you don't need to deal with the hassle of a
swap and all the problems that come along with that, they are
fast, they handle fairly well, and if you get the bug to go
faster then longtubes, cam, headwork, and the bottle will make
you faster than 95% of the people you know and 90% of the people
who show up to Sunday nights. It has the best potential for
high horsepower while not blowing up.
It isn't the most unique swap, it won't fill your desire for an
FD, but it will be fast, handle, look pretty good, and be
reliable. It is the most logical choice. But I know damned
well you aren't buying a toy on logic.
From your list, I would say just get the FD. You want one, you
always talk about them, I know you love them. If you get a
Lotus or another IS, you are going to feel ****ty every time you
see another FD. And it wont matter how fast you make the Lexus,
you'll still wish you got the FD. Even if you get the Lotus and
go run epic laps at Eagle's Canyon, you'll still wish you had
the FD. If you get the S2K for the redline lulz and torque-less
wonder life and complete lack of modability, you'll want the FD.
Even if you make the logically correct choice and get a 'Vette,
you'll want the FD. If you go out and get a 5.0 Mustang, and
spend a few grand on slicks, an X-Pipe, and tune and go run 10s
all day long, you'll still want the FD. No matter what else you
get, you are going to want the FD. Nothing will be as good as
an FD. Ask me how I know.
For as long as I have known you (going on like, six years now?
Market Street was the summer of '05 or '06, right before I
started dating Mary I think) you've wanted an FD. You worshiped
at the alter of Steve Kan, are one of the only people that
doesn't own a rotary that knows how it works, and can tell the
type of port the rotor has when one drives by. Stop being a
****, get the FD. And keep the 13b in it, bridge port and big
turbo it, and get a vanity plate that says PSTNLOL.

How about a 914 or 911
HTML http://dcracinganddevelopment.com/cars-for-sale-inside.html
He is reputable. Also he has done a 327 swap on a 914. Thing is
friggen sweet and sounds like a monster.
