HAHA i didnt see that 13 MPH thing the first time i read it,
thats funny lol.
and yeah i do that same thing, i try not to brake that much, i
roll all the time so i dont have to start from a cmplete stop,
if i drove my car like a complete maniac i would get like 10MPGs
for sure!

HOLY SHIT!!! hahaha i almost bought a 73 lincoln Town Coupe and
it got 7mpg's driving it nice, and i was like this is going to
be a hard car on my pockets, i coulnd imagine driving something
that got 4mpg!

totally legit.... hahaha. Needless to say, the stock ecu doesn't
know about my massive injectors, fuel pumps, and the turbo haha.

OK. this has turned into quite the project. I talked to someone
in the know about the HPF kit, and he said that the mpg is
"sorta" right, but only over reasonably short distances. In the
past when I have done the math after filling up, it has always
been a bit off, but not horribly. The big issue is because the
fuel map is sooo much better than what comes on the stock car,
if you begin to decelerate with the HPF kit the fuel consumption
goes almost to nothing and the MPG meter goes OMG I can go wayyy
up. So if you leave it on without resetting it for several
hundred miles it will average out WAY high. However if you reset
it at whatever speed you are going and then maintain that speed
it will give a sorta accurate reading... if that makes since.
This was very strange for me, this style of driving is almost
totally opposite to how I normally drive the car. I cheated a
bit because I have great access to LONG texas back roads with
50mph speed limits with no lights or stop signs for miles out
here in the boondocks.
HERE ARE THE RESULTS. THE GREAT HYPERMILEING EXPERIMENT 2011!

Turns out, if you drive like a crazy person who never uses their
brakes and drives at exactly 45mpg in 6th gear, the Stage 2 HPF
M3 can get fairly crazy MPG haha. FucK you Prius!

i get what u explained in the first paragraph, and then i kind
of get the picture. so the picture says ur car gets arround 41
MPG's? thats freaking amazing, its like the prius but sexi and
fast as hell!

shit out of it shifting about 300rpm below the rev limiter

Only way I can get to 46 is by being on a dead flat and totally
strait road and hitting the cruise control at 50 in 6th gear. If
I touch the accel or have to speed up or slow down at all it
instantly drops into the high 30's if I gun it even a little or
go over 60 it drops to the high 20's lol. If it get on it more I
can get it to drop to like 7. Like I said I sorta cheated.
