I am just ranting SORRY.

Got my car back today :D but and it is a big one. Hood didn't
get fixed because the shop they hired does not know how to fix
aluminum. When I went to leave the dealership the car had a
hard lack of power. It sounds like she is sucking air from
somewhere that is not the intake. There is a knock in the valve
train now that wasn't there before. Talk about bump steer, I
have it without having the car lowered or even changing any
suspension pieces. I am happy the dents are gone and it looks a
lot better even though they did not do any paint. I spent an
hour bitching at the mechanics who are def and could not hear
the vacuum sound and wouldn't take her for a test drive to make
sure she is running alright. I did get a free full synthetic
oil change which does a little show a little thought from the
dealership.
I am taking it to Don Herring to look at on Saturday because I
want someone who doesn't know the car to look at it. And after
I get the check for the hood I am heading over to Trade Secrets
in Plano to have them give me a quote on it as I do not have any
time to screw with things right now. All in all I am very
unhappy with Louisville mitsu and will never go back there.

You shouldn't have left the lot with the car if it wasn't
finished... If they can't fix the hood, it should have been
replaced. You got sold a load of horse shit.

Sorry let me clarify, I am waiting on a 300 dollar check from
the dealership. This is because I told him to not fix the metal
non vented hood that came on the car as I want the evo x
aluminum hood I bought from Chaz fixed and put on. It is worth
it to not let them do it since he is not bbb certified and the
dealership is stating they only hired him and his shop because
of the hail. I have gotten rave reviews from people about trade
secret body shop and have heard that they can fix anything.
To go a little further the dealership stated that the do not
update the software on the cars when you get your major service
done. From one of the 15 (mitsubishi master certified)
mechanics. They can turn off the drl but it will void all
electrical and engine warranty. And they started downing Cobb
tuning.

DRL = daytime running lights? or something else. I have no idea
how turning those off would void your warranty... so I am
guessing you mean something else??
Cobb has blown up a ton of cars, but it's more from the sheer
volume they sell than from neglect. IMO it's always better to
get a custom tune than a out of the box reflash.

Yea the guy said if he was to go and turn off the daytime
running lights it would void any and all warranties because it
is changing the programming on the ecu. That is just something
that blows my mind.
As for the cobb tuning thing they stated that cobb had messed up
a tune on an evo x so they ordered a new ecu from a gts and put
it on the guys car and gave it back to him like nothing was
wrong.

They are feeding you a load of horse shit, turning off your
DRL's will not void your warranty, they are idiots who just
don't want to do the work, take your business elsewhere.

Of anyone in NTEC I have yet to see one of them have a blown
motor that Cobb tuned, and any car that Cobb has made a mistake
on they have paid for the repairs and parts out of pocket and
made everything better than ever. A blown motor could just as
easily come from extreme driving habits, irresponsibility, bad
luck or self-tinkering
What Lewisville Mitsu failed to let you know is NONE of their
customers are from NTEC, and if they are, they didn't know from
the start how shady Lewisville Mitsu truely is. They bad mouth
Cobb because other than Evolution Dynamics, Cobb is one of
NTEC's main tuners and hang out spot and Cobb works hand in hand
with Don Herring. Don Herring will not void your warranty if
your tune and labor is done by Cobb and Don Herring even sells
Cobb's Accessports and parts to new/used Evo and Ralliart
customers. Cobb's Accessport was the reason I even bought my
car to begin with.
The more you know 8)

Yea I know now. I am going over to don herring at 8 tomorrow
because I will not deal with shady a** Lewisville mitsu any
more. Gonna get an estamint on what needs to be repaired and I
am gonna see about getting it done there. Lewisville is gonna
pay for it cause they messed it up. if it is jacked up like I
suspect I will be going further up the Chain to the regional
manager and mma so that they will know what is going on. I just
hope it doesn't turn into a big stink cause I will trade in for
a hatch impreza quicker than they can say go.

OH yeah I forgot to mention. NTEC gets 10% off on all
Mitsubishi products and oil changes from Don Herring ;D
